Statement

Victoria Bone works across Live Art, sculpture, drawing and video, her practice explores the social and economic constraints on the female body through themes of submission and control, vulnerability and strength. Underpinned by feminist critique, Bones performances use ritualistic structures and actions of everyday movement, while her visual work utilises materials historically associated with women, such as textiles, domestic objects, used clothing and menstrual blood.

Victoria studied Fine Art (BA) at Chelsea School of Art and (MFA) at Bath Spa University as a mature student, graduating in 2017 with a Distinction.
